At Macey City Soundtrack, our mission is to bring joy and unforgettable experiences to those battling ALS by raising funds to send them to concerts and events. We believe in the power of music to uplift spirits, create cherished memories, and provide moments of respite and celebration. Through our dedicated efforts, we aim to make the world a more compassionate place, one concert at a time.

Our charity was organized in early 2025 by Keith Hoaglund, who lost his daughter, Macey, to ALS in August of 2024. Inspired by his daughter’s love for music and the joy it brought her even in the toughest times, Keith founded Macey City Soundtrack to honor her legacy and bring the same joy to others facing ALS.

In our early few days, we have already provided concert tickets to 7 recipients, and we hope to expand our offerings to include trips or other adventures. These experiences are designed to provide not only entertainment but also a sense of normalcy and joy in the lives of those affected by ALS. Each concert ticket or trip is curated to ensure that it offers a unique and memorable experience, tailored to the recipient’s musical tastes and personal preferences.

As we continue to grow, we are committed to increasing the number of recipients each year, reaching more individuals and families. We are also exploring partnerships with various artists, venues, and event organizers to offer exclusive opportunities and backstage experiences. By doing so, we hope to deepen the connection between the recipients and the music they love, creating lasting memories that they can cherish despite their challenging circumstances.

Ultimately, our goal is to continue honoring the legacy of Keith’s daughter and to spread joy through music to as many people as possible. We believe that through compassion, dedication, and the universal language of music, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by ALS.
